Welcome to the June newsletter. This month we are expanding the JNCAA Syllabus with the release of the Juniper Cloud Fundamentals (JCF) course. This course offers an entry point into the wider Juniper Cloud syllabus. As always, we have various Open enrollment events on offer. We encourage your students to take advantage of these sessions for a chance to obtain a free JNCIA-JUNOS certification.
As the next step in achieving our twin goals of adding more content focused on the cloud and making our content more easily accessible, we announce that the following certification preparation courses have been released for the JNCAA program: JNCIS-SEC through On-Demand and JNCIA-Cloud via Juniper Open Learning. We’ll provide more details on these courses and how to offer them to your students below.
In January’s newsletter, we talked about our new digitization strategy for the JNCAA program, which makes it easier for you to engage with Juniper, with no contracts or ramp up time, through our On-Demand Training courses and Juniper Open Learning program. In this newsletter, we would like to announce a new Juniper Networks Certification Program (JNCP) exam option and highlight the benefits of some existing (and free) tools to your students: Junos Genius and Learning Bytes.
For those that use the Gregorian calendar, welcome to 2018! We have a lot of ambitious plans for our academic program this year, focusing on the upcoming content. We’ll announce these changes through our monthly newsletters. This month we are proud to share with you the implementation of free academic certification vouchers for both faculty members and students, and an overview of the different academic program resources.
With the launch of the JNCAA On-Demand training offering, the JNCAA program now has the means to allow students quick and easy access to Juniper courseware. This enables universities, colleges, and research centers to more easily engage with Juniper. We are also evaluating our current program model, with the aim to further reduce the administrative overhead and minimize onboarding efforts. In our January newsletter, we’ll share details of these initiatives.
We are almost ready to launch the JNCAA On-Demand Training offerings. So in this month’s newsletter we will share how we expect these On-Demand offerings will be organized. Also, the Juniper Open Learning platform is live, so we’ll explain what it is and how you and your students can join the events. Last, the Introduction to the Junos OS (IJOS) course has been updated to version 15b, so we’ve included a summary of the changes.
The Juniper Networks Academic Alliance program consist of two main pillars: education and research. In this month’s newsletter, we would like to share more details on what the research pillar is, how we support it, and how you can participate.
First off we would like to wish good fortune to all that are about to embark on academic year 2017/2018. May it bring forth many bright students, lots of innovation and idea’s, but most of all: an immense amount of knowledge transfer.
